The Montgomery County chapter of Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) meets at 7:00 p.m. on alternate Wednesdays in Bethesda. This peer support group has been active since 1982. Membership is open to anyone who is in treatment for depression or bipolar disorder. There is no charge to join the group or attend the meetings. Weather policy: DBSA Montgomery County does not meet if Montgomery County public schools are closed due to weather.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI Connection is a recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

I am an OCD suffer myself and noticed there are no groups in the NOVA area and would like to meet up with others with OCD or have family members who suffer from OCD as a better way of understanding what we are going through and discuss treatments or anything that has been useful while dealing with this illness. I am open to meeting up in different areas in the NOVA area, though I am here now in Great Falls. Look forward to meeting you!

This group is for those suffering from mental illness who are Christians or are interested in Christianity. We meet once a week for peer-to-peer therapy, to discuss different techniques that can utilized to assist those suffering from mental illness. We are looking forward to meeting those who are interested in joining.
